Singapore accounting firm member receives Gold Star Award for third time |
| 23 January 2004 -Singapore accounting member, Tan Leng Cheo & Partners, was conferred the Gold Star Award for the third time in October 2003 by the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), the world’s largest body of professional accountants. The Gold Star Award is a recognition by the ACCA that training and staff development in the firm approaches best practice across all the key areas. TLC&P was first awarded the Gold Star in 1999 and again in 2000 valid to 2003. The third Gold Star Award is valid for five years to 2008. MSI members working together in the Asia-Pacific Other news Frankie Tan recently assisted MSI law member Dan Lanahan of Lanahan & Reilley to set up Endomatrix Inc’s Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore. Meetings were arranged at very short notice with the Singapore Government’s investment agency as well as its venture capital funds and private investment arm. Frankie Tan was also delighted to work with Angelo Carvalho
of Carvalho Associates in Chennai, India, on
the audit, tax and accounting requirements of an Indian software company
headquartered in Singapore. |
