Valuations

At any point in time, you may need to value your company, your business, or another company or business which you are thinking of acquiring.  If you are paying for an acquisition through a share swap, you will need to work out what is the fair value of your company’s shares and what is the fair value of the shares of the target company you are acquiring.
 
If you are paying for an acquisition of assets through issuing shares of your company to the vendors, you will need to work out the fair value of your company’s shares.
