An expert accountant can help in an arbitration – whether as an arbitrator or for the claimants or the respondents. This can often arise in corporate and commercial cases such as disputes over the valuation of shares or businesses, or disputes over a breach of contract. Frankie Tan is an associate member of the Singapore Academy of Law and a member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and is conversant with arbitration practices. He has a Master of Laws (distinction) from the University of Queensland and a post-graduate Diploma in Business Law from the National University of Singapore.
